Marylen Reid | Managing Lawyer
Marylen Reid graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa in the intensive double degree program, Programme de droit Canadien, with LL.B. and LL.L, in English and in French. She was called to the bar in 2014 and started working in Child Protection and Refugee Law since then. She values protecting people who are the most in need of protection.
She is also member of the Family Tariff Advisory Committee of the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers
She enjoys teaching workshops, critical thinking, fusion dancing, clowning, and improv.

Malika Dhalla | Associate Lawyer
Malika Dhalla graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC in 2022 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2023. She has experience in criminal law and civil litigation as well as a background in human rights.
Outside of the office, Malika enjoys going to the beach with her dog, reading historical non-fiction, and creating things with beads.

Jolden Boparai | Article Student
Jolden earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of British Columbia before pursuing her Juris Doctor at Bond University. After gaining valuable experience as an administrative legal assistant at Fasken Martineau Dumoulin LLP, she is currently completing her articles as part of her journey toward becoming a licensed lawyer.
Outside of her professional life, Jolden enjoys hot yoga, indulging in Mexican cuisine, and spending quality time with her dog.
